A drummer with a background in drum n' bass, a bassist/synth wizard with a background in punk and hardcore, and a Taiwenese singer beamed in from some kind of alternate universe where singers like Bjork, Lykke Li, Karen O and Alice Glass rule the world. They've been featured on Radio 1's 'Newsbeat' following their appearance at Cardiff's SWN Festival, and been played by John Hillcock on Xfm, Huw Stephens on Radio 1, as well as other spot plays on stations like BBC Bristol Introducing. Following a string of raucous London shows at every venue & houseparty they could book, Glass Diamond have opened for Supergrass, Skindred, You Love Her Coz She's Dead and 65 Days Of Static, including a plucky spot opening for Gary Numan at the 02 Arena Birmingham, a MEZE Festival slot supporting Dubstep legend Caspa, and in November played alongside Hexstatic at Camden Koko.
